Ross to Discuss Digital Trends and Strategies to Build Active Online Engagement

PepsiCo Digital Marketer John Ross  ARLINGTON, Texas - The Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA), the bowling industry's leading trade association, knows that social media is constantly changing and evolving the way the bowling industry does business. In order to provide solutions to keep owners and operators at the top of their game, the BPAA has announced today that PepsiCo Digital Marketer John Ross will address attendees in a "Thought Leader" presentation and discussion at the 2013 Bowling Summit. During the session, Ross will offer tips and strategies geared specifically to help bowling center proprietors seize upon new opportunities and leverage digital platforms to grow their business. Ross will speak on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. local time.


Ross' career has been spent building profitable online communities and developing his skills and strategic knowledge across web development, online marketing, and community management.  He has worked with some of the world's most iconic brands, including Intel, Mars Petcare, Mars Food, WWE, Intuit, SEARS and the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

During his "Thought Leader" keynote session, Ross will discuss digital trends seen in businesses across the country and discuss the PepsiCo overarching digital strategy (including real-time marketing, research and hyper-local tactics for engaging customers). He will also share case studies and key takeaways from PepsiCo's digital platforms that bowling proprietors can apply to their own businesses.


Ross has over 13 years of experience in the social media space (in an industry that has been around for 15 years). He has also helped successfully launch three different music startup ventures and continues to hone his skills at PepsiCo working on their food service and marketing product innovation areas.


The BPAA's Bowling Summit is the premier annual strategic mid-winter conference for bowling center proprietors, managers and industry leaders, offering education, networking and industry insights on new and upcoming products.   The 2013 Bowling Summit will be held January 27-30, 2013, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the San Antonio Riverwalk in Texas. This "Thought Leader" session is part of the education series taking place at the Summit this year.
