I am a student at Johnson and Wales University- Charlotte Campus. I'm doing a concentration in entrepreneurship; I have chosen to create a business plan for a bowling alley. I have to create a 36-month Pro Forma with realistic numbers. I was able to find general information about bowling facilities and by calling proprietorship statewide (South Carolina) information for individual allies but cannot find a resource that has information that can be stated from a credible resource that can appendix.

Is there a location or resources in which I could such information? How is the estimated $100,000/lane for a startup broken down by percentages? What are typical cost of organization cost such as trademarks, licensing, and other such cost? Is there any data on creating a bowling house in an independent areas verses shopping center/similar areas? Is there statistical data that separates bowling houses or FECs based on size, number of lanes, and/or pricing? Additionally, statistical information about various averages such as average revenue from a family of four vs. singles vs. leagues vs. etc. or average revenue from arcades, bars, bowling, etc.?

Thank you for your help.
Mary

There have been a lot of views of my topic posting but no responses. I did find that there were financial benchmarks available but at a hefty price. Since, this is a class project I don't want to pay such a price. Is there anyone who could point me in the right direction to find some of the financial information that I need for the class without the price tag?
